From Penzance, follow the A30 towards Lands End. After passing through Drift, take the B3283
to St Buryan. Continue through St Buryan until you come to Penberth valley. The road falls steeply with a hairpin bend. Towards the top of the other side of the valley is the turning to Penberth. This is very sharp and you may find it easier to go to the next turning for Treen, proceed up the hill to the pub car park, turn and come back down. The road to Penberth is narrow. Continue for 250 metres, pass a gatehouse on the left, and Rose Cottage is shortly on the right in the middle of a terrace of three cottages. Rose Cottage has the yellow front door. Parking is possible outside the cottage for loading and unloading but it is recommended that night parking is further down the lane to avoid problems with dustcarts, oil deliveries and other large vehicles.
